Trial dates set for Halifax police officer charged with sexual assault

Three days have been set aside in March 2020 for the trial of a Halifax police officer charged with sexual assault.

Const. Pierre-Paul Cadieux was arrested and charged in June 2018.

He's alleged to have sexually assaulted another police department employee in 2016.

According to CBC News, Cadieux was not a member of the force at the time of the alleged assault, but was training at the Atlantic Police Academy.

He remains suspended with pay.
