Tropical Storm Gordon remnants to lash Maritimes with heavy rainfall
The Maritimes are in for a wet couple of days as the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon work their way through the region, with New Brunswick expected to see the heaviest rain.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather advisory for all of southern New Brunswick including Fredericton, Grand Manan, Moncton and Saint John, saying the rain will start Tuesday and last until Wednesday morning.
The weather agency says there is still some uncertainty where the heaviest rainfall will occur, but it's predicted up to 50 millimetres could fall in some areas.
It says it's monitoring the situation and rainfall warnings may be issued.
