Truro man pleads not guilty to attempted theft of a cat
Stephen Gregory Tynes has pleaded not guilty to the attempted theft of a cat in Truro.
The 32-year-old did not appear in court on Wednesday, but his lawyer entered the plea to the charge of theft under $5,000 on his behalf.
Tynes also faces two counts of breach of probation.
Truro Police arrested him in early April after a report of someone trying to take a cat from an Exhibition Street property.
Tynes is scheduled to appear in Truro Provincial Court for trial on February 8, 2018.
