Truro police say residents should be on the look out for any downed power lines on Friday
The Truro Police Service says people in the area should be on the look out for any downed power lines on Friday morning.
Truro Police Sergeant Stephen Vanherk tells our newsroom that police have been patrolling the roads all night, adding that there is some debris on the roads, but nothing too serious as of early Friday morning.
He says people should mind their properties and keep on alert for any limbs of trees that might have come into contact with power lines.
Anyone who sees a downed power line is asked to contact Nova Scotia Power, the Truro Police Service, or the Truro Fire Service.
