Truro's Civic Square nominated as a 'Great Place in Canada'

Truro's Civic Square has been nominated for the Great Places in Canada award from the Canadian Institute of Planners.

The national contest invites the public to vote for a great street, public space, or neighborhood.

The award winning spaces are determined by a jury of planners, with one Great Street, Great Neighbourhood, and Great Public Space each awarded the title of Great Place in Canada each year.

The municipality home to the Great Place in Canada will receive a plaque.

Public voting runs until October 27th at greatplacesincanada.ca/vote/.
