Truro woman arrested following attempted robbery at downtown business: police

A 28-year-old Truro woman is due in court Wednesday morning on an attempted robbery charge.

The Truro Police Service responded to a robbery call at a downtown business Tuesday afternoon, after a woman had walked into the business, produced a knife and demanded money.

Police say the woman left without money and was quickly arrested.

The accused is also facing a charge of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of breaching probation.
