Two charged with stunting in HRM

Two men have been charged with stunting after RCMP say two vehicles appear to have been racing when they sped past a police cruiser conducting traffic enforcement.

RCMP say the vehicles were clocked at 165 km/hr on Highway 103 in Lakeside early Sunday morning.

A 25-year-old man from Chester and a 23-year-old man from Chester Basin both had their driver's licences suspended and the vehicles were seized.

If convicted for stunting, they each face a fine of $2,422.50.
