Two men charged with stunting in Antigonish County

Police say two men have been charged with stunting in Antigonish County.

The RCMP say they clocked a vehicle travelling at 132 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Highway 337 in Antigonish around 4 p.m. Sunday.

Less than 24 hours later, around 11:30 a.m. Monday, police say they stopped a vehicle travelling at 159 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Highway 104 in Monastery.

Police say a 48-year-old man and a 19-year-old man have been charged with stunting, their licences were suspended for seven days, and their vehicles were seized.

The fine for stunting in Nova Scotia is $2,422.50.
