Two MHL clubs listed in CJHL top-20 preseason rankings

Two Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) clubs have been named in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) preseason top-20 rankings ahead of the 2017-18 regular season.

The Pictou County Weeks Crushers and Woodstock Slammers are both ranked in the top-20, with the Crushers securing the 17th position and the Slammers being listed in 10th place.

A news release from the MHL says both have gained national recognition in advance of the upcoming season.

The Crushers finished the MHL Regular Season Championship in 2016-17 with a record of 38-9-2-1 and 79 points.

The first rankings for the regular season are set to be released on September 25th.
