Two New Minas men arrested for trafficking cocaine, police say

RCMP say two men have been arrested for trafficking cocaine following the search of a New Minas home.

The Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with help from Kings District RCMP, searched the home on Sumac Avenue last Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation.

During the search, police seized cocaine.

Mounties say a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from New Minas, will be charged with one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Both men have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on December 19th.
