Two people charged in connection with Dartmouth robbery

Two people have been charged in connection with a robbery in Dartmouth two weeks ago.

Halifax Regional Police say a 55-year-old man was followed into an apartment building on August 2nd by an 18-year-old woman holding a rock and a 16-year-old boy with a knife.

The pair threatened the man, demanded his property, but fled empty-handed when a neighbour came to the man's aid.

The boy was arrested on August 4th, while Cumberland District RCMP arrested Makira Dawn Armstrong of Dartmouth on Tuesday and she was transported from Truro to Halifax.

Both face charges including break and enter, robbery, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
