UARB invokes interrupter clause, gas down 6c/L
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (UARB) invoked the interrupter clause overnight, dropping the price of gas by six cents per litre.
Regular self-serve gas sits at $1.144 per litre in the Truro area.
The new minimum price for diesel is $1.14 per litre, down 4.9 cents this morning.
The UARB says the change was necessary "due to significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and diesel oil".
This is just the eleventh time the interrupter clause has been invoked, and the first time since September 2nd, 2015.
