**Updated** Man wanted for murder in N.S. extradited back to the province
A Cole Harbour man wanted on murder charges has been extradited back to Nova Scotia.
The RCMP say Steven Skinner was extradited back to Canada from Venezuela on Saturday.
The 43-year-old is facing a charge of second-degree murder in the April 2011 death of Stacey Adams in Lake Echo.
An international arrest warrant was issued three months later, and Skinner was arrested in Venezuela in May of 2016.
Police say Skinner is also several charges from an incident in Lower Sackville in July 2009, including aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was arrested for those charges in Ontario three days later and was released on conditions in Nova Scotia.
Skinner is scheduled to appear in a Halifax courtroom on Monday.
