Police say they have charged a 47-year-old driver with stunting after the woman was pulled over in a traffic stop in Glenholme on April 1.
The driver, who had four passengers in the vehicle with her at the time, was travelling 176 km/hour on Highway 104, which is 66 kilometers over the speed limit.
Police say the driver, who is from Dartmouth, is facing charges of stunting under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act.
As a result of this charge, her driver's license was immediately suspended for seven days and the vehicle was impounded.
Police say they want to remind the public that speed is one of the major causes of serious injuries and fatal collisions on roads in Nova Scotia.
