RCMP say a 51-year-old Upper Kennetcook man has been charged following the search of a marijuana storefront in Bible Hill.

Colchester District RCMP and the Colchester County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit searched the Community Compassion Center on Pictou Road around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Mounties says cash, marijuana, marijuana derivatives, and drug paraphernalia were seized, while a man was arrested.

Ricky Joseph Leclerc, who appeared in Truro Provincial Court on Friday, has been charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

His next court appearance is scheduled for March 21st at Truro Provincial Court.
