Warrant issued for 'violent' 41-year-old man for allegedly breaching release conditions
Mounties in East Hants say a 41-year-old man wanted by Correctional Service Canada is considered to be violent.
Police say a warrant has been issued for Clyde Anthony Pearson, who's alleged to have breached his conditions while on statutory release.
Pearson was serving a three-year sentence related to trafficking and possession, as well as other charges.
Mounties say Pearson has a "significant criminal record" involving assaults, drugs, threats, property-related offenses and failure to comply with court orders, and is prohibited from having access to firearms.
Pearson is known to frequent the communities of Noel Shore, Lower Sackville and Mount Uniacke.
He's described as 5'6" tall, weighing 221 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
Anyone who sees Pearson is asked not to approach him and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
