Wes Surrett to seek Conservative nomination in Central Nova
Pictou business owner Wes Surrett wants to run for the Conservatives in Central Nova in October's federal election.
Surrett has worked at various tourism operations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, once worked in the PC Government of former New Brunswick premier Bernard Lord, and now operates the Pictou Lodge Beach Resort with his wife, Kate.
At least two other people have announced they plan to seek the Conservative nomination in Central Nova -- Westville Mayor Roger MacKay and Pictou County business owner Luke Young.
The date for the nomination meeting has not been set yet.
