Window broken, vehicle damaged by pellet or BB gun as man violates no contact order: RCMP

A 31-year-old Dartmouth man has been charged with six counts of breach of probation for violating a no contact order.

The RCMP responded to a report at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday that a man was outside a home on Maynard Drive in Middle Sackville, and they weren't supposed to be there.

The complainant told police that their basement window had been shot out and three men ran off into the nearby woods.

Ryan John MacNeil was arrested without incident in Dartmouth about a half hour later, and the RCMP say further charges may be pending.

Police say a pellet or BB gun was used to break the window, and that a vehicle parked in the driveway of the home was damaged by a BB or pellet gun on March 3rd.
