Woman charged in connection with Millbrook murder has case set over to June

A 35-year-old woman charged in connection with the death of a 46-year-old Millbrook man last month has had her case set over until late next month.

Lawyer James Giacomantonio appeared on behalf of Grace Marie Scott, who is charged with being an accessory after the fact, and handed the court a designation of counsel.

He stated he hadn't received all of the disclosure in the matter, and his client is due back in Truro Provincial Court on June 27th.

Scott appeared in Nova Scotia Supreme Court last month and was released on bail, but her surety and where she will be staying has been banned from publication for "safety reasons".

Twenty-five-year-old Kevin Brian Sylliboy from Millbrook faces one count of second-degree murder and is scheduled to return to court on May 15th.
