Woman charged in Millbrook murder case has charge withdrawn
The Crown has withdrawn a charge of being an accessory after the fact against 35-year-old Grace Marie Scott in connection with the death of a 46-year-old Millbrook man last month.
Attorney Allison Brown announced the decision in Truro Provincial Court on Thursday, providing no other details in or out of the courtroom as to the reason for the decision.
Scott was released on bail last month following a hearing in Nova Scotia Supreme Court, but her surety and where she would be staying was banned from publication for "safety reasons".
Twenty-five-year-old Kevin Brian Sylliboy from Millbrook faces one count of second-degree murder in the matter and is due back in court on June 12th.
