Middleton man charged following convenience store robbery

A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with the robbery of a convenience store in Middleton earlier this week.

RCMP say a man entered the store on Main Street around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and demanded the cash drawer.

Police say he had a screwdriver in his left hand and was wearing a bandana to cover his face.

The employee handed him cash, and he then fled the store.

Brennan Donald Simpson of Middleton has been charged with robbery, possession of property obtained by crime, and wearing a disguise while committing an offence.

He's been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on December 6th.
