Donna Morrisey lives somewhere else in her head and heart

On November 1st, Donna Morrisey will be honoured at the signature event for Adsum House, the 28th Annual Successful Canadian Women’s Dinner. Born and raised in Newfoundland, Donna now lives and writes in Halifax.  She has written six national, best-selling novels including Kit’s Law and Sylvanus Now, a novel that was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers Prize. She wrote her first novel when she in her 40’s and says we all have a novel inside us. Donna Morrisey joined Peter Harrison for a conversation about life in a Newfoundland outport, family as a source for stories, and being honoured by Adsum house.
