#MeatlessMonday Amy's favourite things!

I think we can all agree there’s nothing worse than animal cruelty, especially when it can be prevented. I never understood why they test makeup on animals. They don’t have skin like us or lips or eyelashes so why are they used?

Most European countries have banned testing on animals but sadly it’s still done in China and North America.  Luckily, some of my favourite brands are cruelty free and I’d like to share with you. Most of these products are also mostly natural ingredients which is nice because why would you want to put chemicals on your skin?

Before we begin, sadly these companies DO test on animals:

Cover Girl

Here’s some great alternatives!

Annabelle. This is  a cheaper version of Marcelle

Jane Iredale

Avalon Organics. I’ve used many different shampoos from Monat to cheaper ones and I always come back to this one.

Palmers. I’ve been using this forever and I was so happy they don’t test on animals cause it’s my favourite

There’s so many great face products that don’t test on animals. Osha Mae is a local company. I discovered them at the Seaport Farmers market and am obsessed with them. Their carrot facial bar soap is to die for.

Dermologica is a more expensive brand but if wrinkles are your enemy, try them out

Andalou is another great brand with tons of options.

Lush does not test on animals either

Happy cruelty free shopping
