When is the first day of spring?
If you don't have a love/hate relationship with Nova Scotia, you probably don't live in Nova Scotia.
For the most part, everyone here is incredibly nice. The province is also incredibly beautiful. The only problem, which causes the fault in our relationship, is Winter is a 7 month event.
Starting mid-October and lasting until June it is constantly cold and windy. It will snow, melt, snow, melt, snow, melt, snow, melt, and cycle through this taunting nightmare until you wake up in August sweating because it's now 30 degrees and humid AF.
There is no in-between.
The first day of Spring is on Monday, unless you live in Nova Scotia.— C100FM (@C100FM) March 18, 2017
Nova Scotia Spring starts in June.
So when you ask "When is the first day of Spring?" don't google it or look at a calendar or do anything logical.
Book a vacation.
Go somewhere warm.
Come back refreshed.
Endure a little more Winter.
Then enjoy Summer.
