    Fredericton Washertoss Association Winter Washertoss Tournament at the Fredericton Legion on Queen St. Saturday February 25th, 9 am registration starts.     Canadian Deafblind Association NB Inc. is having a Paint and Sip Fundraiser to raise money for our annual camp.   • 8th Annual Four Leaf Formal

    The 8th annual Four Leaf Formal is March 17th from 8p-1p at the Delta on the Woodstock road. All proceeds raised in support of Cooper Thornton a 6 yr old boy who's currently recovering from a brain tumor. Cooper was diagnosed with a brain tumor, the size of a small orange, in late September 2016. During October 2016 Cooper underwent an 18-hour surgery at the IWK and has since returned to Fredericton where he and his family spend countless hours going through the rehabilitation process.

    From February 10-26, join Global Pet Foods for their annual Show Us Your Heart™ fundraiser. Every $1 donation made in store will be matched by Global Pet Foods. This year in Fredericton Global Pet Foods has partnered with Ca-R-Ma and The SPCA. 100% of all funds raised during this campaign will be donated to these local animal shelters and pet rescue groups to provide much needed shelter, care and treatment for pets in need.

    Majestany Institute is currently fundraising to send the graduating class to Halifax to compete at the Atlantic Hair Show in April There are 50/50 tickets available to purchase at the school (located on Westmorland street beside mexi’s) 2 for 5$, 5 for 10$.     We invite you to attend CNIB’s 5th annual Dining in the Dark fundraiser being held on Thursday, March 23rd, from 6-9 pm at the Delta Fredericton. Dining in the Dark is a signature event that includes dinner, entertainment, a silent auction and blindfolds. It provides guests with a unique experience as it allows them to rely solely on their sense of touch, taste and smell, while provoking thought on the realities of living with vision loss. CNIB is a registered charity, passionately providing community-based programs, vision rehabilitation, and information to Canadians who are blind or partially sighted. With your support, CNIB New Brunswick can raise much needed funds to provide essential programs and services to people with vision loss living in the Fredericton area. In addition, these funds will help CNIB to connect with the greater public, increasing awareness of vision loss through the personal accounts of individuals who are overcoming barriers and living life to the fullest.     The Canadian Mental Health Association of NB is holding a charity dodge ball tournament “Dodge the Stigma” to help beat back the winter blues Feb 25 2017 from 12-4pm, at the Nashwaaksis Field House. Through our partnership with Active Fredericton, proceeds raised will go back to CMHA of NB and support programs and services offered throughout the province.
