    Road Closure season is ramping up. The City will be starting four projects Tuesday (May 23) that will result in road and trail closures Cedar Avenue will be closed to through traffic between the intersections of Maple Street and Fulton Ave for about 8 weeks Greenwood Drive will be closed between Birch Cres and Route 8 for 4 weeks And Preston Drive will be closed for 16 weeks And The Northside Trail between Claremont Drive and Ruby Court will be closed due to construction however a corridor around the construction site for trail user’s will be maintained. That will be for five (5) weeks.

    The Capital Area Modelers Society will be holding their annual Spring Classic model contest and show at the Fredericton High School Cafeteria, on Saturday, May 27th. The show is the largest and longest running event east of Montreal and features some of the finest models from Eastern Canada, Quebec and Maine.     The RCMP Musical Ride is coming to Fredericton! Diabetes Canada NB Region, will host the event for two shows, July 11th & 12th 2017 at the Capital Exhibit Centre in Fredericton. Attendees will be treated to a spectacular showcase of Canadian heritage and tradition. The Musical Ride, best known for stunning choreography and horsemanship, is touring across Canada as part of Canada 150 celebrations and Fredericton is the only stop in NB this year. The performances will be held inside the Capital Exhibit Centre.
