The province has introduced legislation to better protect children and youth from dangerous work. The Retail Action Network and while they are celebrating this as a victory after a years-long campaign focusing on "tip theft" in BC, the group is worried that the legislation being introduced still leaves room for abuse by employers.

Eric Nordal, a local bartender & Project Coordinator of Retail Action Network says everyone deserves to be paid wages that they have rightfully earned, whether it is a restaurant servers not getting earned tips or someone who has not been paid their full wage by an employer.
