  • Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock 2018

    The Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock is a fundraising event that raises money for pediatric cancer research and support programs for children with a history of cancer. The Tour de Rock team cycles from one end of the Vancouver Island to the other, covering 1,000 kilometres and visiting more than 27 generous communities along the way. The Great Canadian Beer Festival has featured craft beers exclusively over that time with breweries from across Canada. Non-stop entertainment is provided by local buskers, circus entertainers and musicians, and local trucks offer both west coast and ethnic foods for the 9000 attendees who enjoy the sunshine at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, BC over the two days. InspireHealth is a not-for-profit organization providing programs and services to enhance the quality of life, health and well-being of people living with cancer and their families. All programs are offered at no cost to patients, and no referral is required. InspireHealth needs to raise approximately $1,000,000 annually through fundraisers like these to continue to offer services free of charge at all three centres in British Columbia (Victoria, Vancouver, and Kelowna).
