A Liberal candidate in BC has bowed out in the wake of the SNC-Lavalin affair.

The vice-president of the federal Liberal’s Chilliwack-Hope riding association has resigned in support of Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott.

Louis De Jaeger made the announcement in a post on his facebook page Wednesday morning.

He says his values do not align with the current direction of the Prime Minister....

De Jaeger has also cancelled his financial contributions to the party, and is withdrawing his candidate-nominee application for 2019.

De Jaeger originally ran for the Liberals in 2015.
