The crews responded to the call around noon for a house located on Nicol Street.

"The Coroners service is aware of an incident in Nanaimo involving three deceased given the fact that it's so early in the investigation there is no other detail we can share at this time."

Neighbours report the house was occupied by a couple and their 7-year-old daughter.

Investigators are expected to release more information tomorrow.
