Man attempts to clear road of snow with a Zamboni in Central Saanich

In maybe the most Canadian story ever, a man in Central Saanich attempted to clear a road of snow with his Zamboni this evening.

He was clearing snow on Tanner Ridge Place near Hwy 17.

Central Saanich Police say they politely asked him to stop and escorted him home and no fines or arrests were made.

The capital region is expected to get another five centimetres of snow on Monday night.
