Mayor marks new year with New Year's Day Levee at City Hall

We are expecting to hear from Mayor Lisa Helps Monday, what her intentions are for the New Year.

In addition, she is holding court at City Hall for the city's annual City of Victoria New Year's Day Levee on Monday.

Helps says the Levee is a long-standing tradition for the city, and a chance for the pubic to get caught up with their elected officials.

"So, the Levee is from 10 until 12pm at City Hall, and it’s an opportunity for people to come into City Hall, have a chat with Mayor and Council, have some food and drink, and share in conversation with the community."

Parking is available free at all City parkades and parking meters on New Year's Day.
