Nanaimo RCMP release photos of men they want to speak to about a home invasion

Following a violent home invasion in Nanaimo earlier this week RCMP have released surveillance photos of men they want to speak with.

RCMP say they may have more information about the incident anbd want to identify them.

EarlyTuesday morning 3 intruders wearing masks entered the home through a sliding glass door, and hit the male occupant on the head with a blunt object.

The couple, in their 70's, were then tied up with belts, and the men spent 20 minutes ransacking the home. They also took the couple's gray Lexus.

Based on converations overhead by the victims, RCMP believe the home was targeted by mistake.

The photos released by RCMP are posted on our website.

Anyone who recognizes the men in the photos is asked to contact Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
