Two people arrested in Langford road rage incident

Valentine's Day didn't begin with a lot of love on a roadway in Langford Tuesday morning.

West Shore RCMP say they responded to a complaint of road rage on Sooke Road near Happy Valley around 6:45 a.m.

They say two occupants of an SUV attempted to run a white truck off the road while yelling at the occupants of that vehicle.

Both vehicles pulled over and the driver of the black SUV walked over to the driver's side of the truck where a fight broke out with the driver through an open window.

A description of the black SUV was given to police who located the vehicle in the area where the driver was arrested for assault and dangerous driving.

The passenger of the same vehicle was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of North Cowichan.

The driver of the SUV appears in court April 6th.
