Victoria Hospitals Foundation raising money to buy new ultrasound machines
The Victoria Hospitals Foundation is holding a fundraiser to buy seven new ultrasound machines.
The fundraiser aims to raise $500,000 for the new machines in the Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals.
Between the two hospitals more than 100 ultrasound procedures are performed each day.
Ultrasounds are most known for being used in pregnancies, but they're also used to view internal organs, tissues and vessels.
