Festival Folk sur le Canal unveils 2018 line-up

The 2018 edition of Festival Folk sur le Canal will run from June 14-17, 2018 at Esplanade du Centenaire along the Lachine Canal (just West of the Atwater Market) and features prominent folk acts and folk-influenced acts including Montreal's Plants and Animals and Jason Bajada, Josh Ritter, Mandolin Orange, Royal Wood, and more. Here is this year's complete line-up:

Started in 2008 as a one-day event, Montreal's Festival Folk sur le Canal has come a long way and now stretches over several consecutive days. Past editions of the festival have included performances from Joel Plaskett, Sharon & Bram, John Sebastian, Socalled, Sarah Harmer, Ian Kelly, John Jacob Magistery, Bruce Cockburn, Basia Bulat, and more.

Unlike many other music events in Montreal, the festival is run by a not-for-profit organization and is proud to promote and feature artists from neighbourhoods around Montreal. Although the outdoor shows along the canal are free, you can help support the festival and the fees they incur by buying a $50 VIP one-day pass or a $100 VIP three-day pass through their website.
