LISTEN: Weezer releases covers album

Weezer is back! Wednesday at midnight, the band released The Teal Album, in line with their previous coloured-themed album titles. However, unlike previous albums, The Teal Album consists of nothing but cover songs.

Weezer are no strangers to cover songs, having swapped covers with Toto last summer.

The Teal Album comes as a pre-cursor to the band's The Black Album which is expected on March 1.

Weezer plays a double bill with The Pixies at Montreal's Bell Centre on March 13.
