Montreal's Pouzza Fest unveils 2019 lineup

Named after two of Montreal's favourite gluttonous foods—poutine and pizza—Pouzza Fest is a 3-day festival that encourages Montrealers to binge on all aspects of punk music.

This year's edition of the festival includes acts like Against Me!, Andrew W.K., and The Planet Smashers. Also on the bill are Montreal's Alex Brown & The Hepcats, Bats in the Belfry, Danny Rebel & The KGB, K-Man & The 45s, Laureate, Pale Lips, The Peelers, and more.

Pouzza Fest runs from May 17-19, 2019 at various venues in Downtown Montreal that are located within walking distance of one another. The festival also includes an outdoor stage in the Quartier des spectacles with free shows and activities. The complete lineup and ticket information has yet to be released.

Pouzza Fest was started in 2011 by Hélène McKoy and Hugo Mudie from Montreal band The Sainte Catherines. Past lineups of the festival have included acts such as Lifetime, Lagwagon, Less Than Jake, MxPx, The Ataris, Municipal Waste, and PUP.
