Red Hot Chili Peppers To Stream Pyramids Concert

Red Hot Chili Peppers fans who aren’t making the trek to Egypt to see the band perform at the pyramids can watch the show online.

The Peppers will livestream their performance in Giza on their official YouTube channel as well as via Twitter and Facebook.

The stream begins Friday at 3 p.m. ET.

“My heart is abuzz with joy at the prospect of performing in Egypt,” bassist Flea said, in a statement, when the concert was announced back in January. “I’m so grateful and humbled for the experience.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of only a few acts – in modern times, anyway – to perform at the pyramids. The Grateful Dead, Scorpions, and Sting are among those who have.
