This Friday is CHOM and STIHL's 3rd Front Yard Party of 2018. Terry DiMonte will be broadcasting live from Ryan Wilds' lawn on Av. de Yonge Crescent in Pointe-Claire between the 20 and the 40. Suoni Per Il Popolo Festival

Now in its 18th edition, Suoni Per Il Popolo is all about discovering music from various genres that pushes traditional boundaries and which falls into the realm of experimental and avant garde. Most shows are reasonably priced at $15 or less and take place at La Sala Rossa, Casa del Popolo, La Vitrola, and a handful of satellite venues. Folk Fest sur le Canal

This year's edition of the Folk Fest sur le Canal will feature Montreal's Plants and Animals and Jason Bajada, Josh Ritter, Mandolin Orange, Royal Wood, and more. Outdoor shows at the Esplanade du Centenaire along the Lachine Canal are free of charge. You can find a full line up here.

Montreal Air Guitar Championship

Now an annual event, the Canadian Air Guitar Championships stop down in Montreal this Friday night for the Quebec leg of the competition. Swing by Parc des Amériques in the Plateau to cheer on air guitar competitors or maybe even compete yourself! The chosen winner from the Montreal leg moves on to Toronto with the hopes of representing Canada at the Air Guitar World Championships in Finland. Although the event is free, donations are being accepted for Right To Play Canada.
Crackers & Jam (album launch) + Clark's Bowling Club

West Island Blues Festival

The West Island Blues Festival is a free outdoor gathering that celebrates blues music while raising funds for local West Island non-profits. In the past, the festival has raised money for the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped, the West Island Black Community Association, and the West Island Women’s Shelter. Classica Festival: Queen Tribute
