Montreal Fringe Festival
Ongoing until June 17, 2019 @ Various venues
Montreal's independent, repertoire, lottery-based performing arts festival is back with over 800 performance by more than 500 artists. You'll find everything from theatre to comedy to music with ticket prices capped at under $15. You can consult the full Fringe Festival schedule here. Also part of the Fringe Festival are free events at Fringe Park (Parc des Amériques) with an impressive line-up of live music.

Mont Royal Avenue Street Fair

The Mont Royal Av. Street Fair is back as of Thursday and runs until Sunday. Mont Royal Av. will be closed to all vehicular traffic as merchants setup tables and kiosks along the street. Also on the docket are various family-friendly activities. Programming info here

Branle-Bas d'Hochelaga

Village au Pied-du-Courant opening weekend

Communal space, Village au Pied-du-Courant is back this summer. This year's site includes hang out space, a stage with performances, palm grove, basketball court,  art murals, playground for kids, green space, food trucks, and artists in residence.

Le Grand Poutinefest du West Island
