Les Premiers Vendredis

Les Premiers Vendredis (First Fridays) are back for the season! Every first Friday of the month, a block party-like event is held at the esplanade adjacent to Olympic Park! This time around, expect 50 food trucks, live music, themed activities, and 500 seated places.

Aux 33 Tours is doing some spring cleaning and will be selling off some of their records from their warehouse for $1. Can't make it this weekend? They'll be having a 2nd sale next weekend as well (May 12 and 13, 2018). Note: Unlike their previous $1 sales, this one will be taking place next door to their store location on Mont Royal East.
Free Comic Book Day

Now a yearly event, Free Comic Book Day is held on the first Saturday of May. The goal is to support local, independent comic book stores. On top of having some books up for grabs free of charge, some stores go as far as hosting autograph sessions, cosplay events, and contests. 90s Bar Crawl

Organizers are promising a flashback to the 90s in a bar hop setting. A ticket to the event gets you a bar crawl cup, a welcome drink, and drink specials. Cycle Néron and Friends of the MUHC have put together Montreal's 2nd Cycleswap — a great opportunity to buy, sell, or recycle a bike. Proceeds from bikes sold will go towards buying 2 new ultrasound machines for brain imaging at the bedside in the Montreal Children's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. You can register HERE.
