The CP Holiday Train is coming to town!

The CP Holiday Train in support of Canadian food banks will begin making its way across the country as of this weekend. The Holiday Train, an initiative by Canadian Pacific in collaboration with food banks across the country, started in 1999 and will begin this year's Canadian run with several stops in and around Montreal.

The train is decorated from front to back in holiday colours and lights and has multiple stops in Canada while another route serves stops in and around the United States. At each stop, a stage is set up for a free 30 minute mini-concert and patrons are invited to drop off both non-perishable goods and monetary donations in support of local food banks.

This year's musical acts include the Sam Roberts Band, JoJo Mason, Terri Clark, Sierra Noble, and Kelly Prescott. Here are the stops in and around Montreal along with participating musicians:
