SAMUEL L. JACKSON OUTRAGED OVER NEW SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME POSTER: Samuel L. Jackson is not too happy about the new Spider-Man: Far From Home posters. Jackson, who plays Fury, is on a new poster sporting patches on different eyes. Jackson wrote via Instagram, "Uhhhhhhh, What In The Actual F— IS GOING ON HERE???!!! #headsgonroll #lefteyemuthafu—ah." Fans also reacted, with one writing, "Someone wasn’t interested in doing their job, Samuel. Way to call them out." Marvel hasn't responded to the mix up. Spider-Man: Far From Home opens on July 2nd.

GEORGE CLOONEY TO DIRECT, STAR IN NEW POST-APOCALYPTIC DRAMA FOR NETFLIX: Netflix announced yesterday (June 24th) that George Clooney is set to star and direct in its upcoming adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton's 2016 novel Good Morning, Midnight. Clooney is currently in pre-production on the untitled project with longtime collaborator Grant Heslov. The two previously won the Best Picture Oscar as producers of Ben Affleck’s 2012 drama Argo. Clooney said in a statement, "Grant and I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with this incredible project. Mark is a writer we’ve long admired and his script is haunting. We’re thrilled to be working with our friends at Netflix as well." A release date hasn't been announced yet.

TYLER PERRY TEAMS UP WITH VIACOM TO LAUNCH BET PLUS STREAMING SERVICE: Tyler Perry has partnered with Viacom's BET Networks for a subscription streaming service BET Plus that will debut this fall. The platform will include original series and BET's portfolio of entertainment, and shows and movies within the Viacom archive. No word on how much the subscription will cost.

FOX ANNOUNCES FALL PREMIERE DATES: FOX has announced the fall premiere dates for it's new and returning shows, including the sixth and final season of Empire. The sixth season will premiere on September 24th at 9pm EST, following the season three return of medical drama The Resident at 8 pm EST. Meanwhile, The Masked Singer is set to return with a special two hour premiere on September 25th starting at 8pm EST.

FX ANNOUNCES PREMIERE DATE FOR AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 1984: FX Networks has announced the premiere date for it's fall lineup, including the upcoming ninth installment of American Horror Story: 1984. The show's season premiere will arrive on September 18th at 10 pm EST. Meanwhile, the 14th season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia will premiere on September 25th at 10pm est.
