CJ104 Crime of the Week

Local RCMP are asking the public for information that will help solve a criminal act of break, enter and theft at a Church in Upper Brighton, NB.  The incident happened sometime between noon on Fri. May 24th and 10:00 AM Sat. May 25, 2019.  Stolen was a Dell laptop computer and a large Yamaha speaker.

On Sat. May 4, 2019, an attempted theft of a side-by-side ATV occurred on Wallace Street, Woodstock, NB.  Home owners are once again reminded to keep secure their homes and storage sheds to prevent criminals from stealing your personal property.

Law enforcement would like to inform the public they see an increase in mischief and theft from homes this time of year.  Vacations will soon be starting and homes are easy targets for crimes of opportunity.  Never use social media to inform thousands of people you will not be at home and just as important, never post selfie pictures of you at some other location.  Share these pictures with your friends when you get home.  When you are away, try to make your home look occupied.

If you have any information on these criminal acts, contact Crime Stoppers.  Your information could provide to you a cash award.

The Crime Stoppers New Brunswick Crime of the Week is brought to you by Keenan Construction, The Concrete and Excavation Experts, in Woodstock.
