Dennis Oland could soon be back in court on trial again

Dennis Oland could soon be back in a New Brunswick courtroom, facing trial for the second-degree murder of his multimillionaire father all over again.
Oland was found guilty last year of killing his businessman father, but the New Brunswick Court of Appeal overturned the conviction and ordered a new trial, citing an error in the trial judge's instructions to the jury.
The Crown had wanted to restore Oland's conviction, while his lawyers filed a cross-appeal seeking an acquittal, but both were denied.
Oland's lawyer said the date for a new trial could be set at a court hearing on August 8th.
