Florenceville-Bristol to hold New Brunswick Day celebrations early

New Brunswick Day celebrations will take place a bit early this year in Florenceville-Bristol.

The provincial government says it will host an early celebration in the village on July 15.

The province says it will kick off a seven-week celebration in counties across New Brunswick on Canada Day to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Miramichi will hold a similar celebration on July 22, and Edmundston will host the official New Brunswick Day celebrations on Aug. 7.

The province says it will unveil the initiatives it has planned to celebrate Canada 150 in the coming weeks.
