G.R. Thériault Ltd. expansion receives provincial support
G.R. Thériault Ltd. is receiving provincial support for a $250,000 capital expansion to buy new equipment for the company’s painting operations and hire two more employees.
Government says the Grand Falls plant will receive non-repayable contributions of $37,500 from Opportunities NB and $25,000 from the Regional Development Corporation.
It's estimated that the newly created jobs would contribute $542,000 to the province’s GDP over six years and generate $62,300 in provincial taxes over the same period.
The company was founded in 1958 by George Thériault and currently has 18 full-time and 14 seasonal employees.
It makes windows and doors, which are sold throughout the region, offers repair services, and is a dealer of patio doors.
