Man falls from roof while working in Woodstock

Police in Woodstock, N.B., say one man has been taken to hospital after falling off a roof while working.

Deputy police Chief Dan Goodwin says police and Ambulance New Brunswick were called to Creighton Street shortly after 2 p.m. Monday.

Goodwin told our newsroom Tuesday morning that one person was taken to the Upper River Valley Hospital with undetermined injuries.

"[WorkSafeNB] has been called in and they'll be attending the scene [Tuesday] and we'll work with them, assist them in any way that we can," said Goodwin.

Goodwin said they're still trying to determine the height from which the man fell.
