Police investigate Lake Edward vehicle thefts, break and enters

Police are investigating whether a pair of vehicles thefts and two break and enters in the Lake Edward area last month are related.

RCMP say a business on Dunster Crossing Road was broken into early on June 15th, but the suspects fled empty-handed as they were interrupted by the owners.

The next day, a grey Ford F150 was taken from a home on Lake Edward Road and a blue 2007 Saturn Ion was stolen from a home on Route 380.

Both vehicles were recovered, though police say the F150 was recovered crashed in a field.

Then during the overnight hours of June 18th and 19th, a home on Lake Edward Road was broken into and electronics were stolen.
