Quebec provincial police confirm six people were killed in Sunday night's mass shooting inside a Quebec City mosque.

Police spokeswoman Christine Coulombe says eight people were also injured, and two people were arrested shortly after the shootings.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau  calling the carnage in the city's Ste-Foy neighbourhood a ``terrorist attack.''
